  1. This episode is very relatable for my own personal experiences. I did make a mistake in my own professional career, as I disclosed early after being diagnosed. Only as I took a very long time for being declared I have MS. I did this because I felt safe, and my employer has a pro family environment. Now, looking back I will admit that was a mistake. However, since that moment over 8 years ago, I have asked for accommodations two separate times. My employer is willing to accomdate me, however, just like the guest on the show, I later out my plans for the accomdation and how it benefits my position. Personally, I only trust my employer so much. It’s best to be your own advocate.
